4 Fun ways to celebrate Father’s Day at home
1. Crafty card making
Celebrate Father’s Day at home this year. A Father’s day card is such a lovely way to say ‘I Love you’ on Father’s Day and even more special with a homemade card. We have a few ideas of crafty makes for you to have a go at home and make Dad, Grandad or a loved one feel special this year.

2.Homemade tags with potatoes!
Whether it’s a bought present or a homemade one, make it personal with a little note to say ‘thanks Dad’. We love the simple way of making homemade tags from potatoes or whatever you have at home.
Simply cut shapes into half or a potato and stamp them onto tags or pieces of paper to create their own little masterpiece. You could even make your own wrapping paper!

3.Salt dough handprint gifts
This is one of our favourite ways to create a little keepsake memory. With a simple recipe, you can make into anything. You could add the prints to photo frames or make them into coasters for Dad to remember with his morning coffee. What will you make?
You will need
- 500 g plain flour
- 500 g table salt
- 250 ml warm water
Method
Mix the salt and flour together, then gradually add the warm water as you mix it together by hand. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and Knead for 5 to 10 minutes until smooth. Cut out pretty shapes or press little hands and feet into the dough. Air dry or bake in the oven for 1 hour+ at 300F (150C) until dry. Then have lots of fun painting!
